1- Please complete three copies of the visa application form, which can be printed directly from this home page. Copies are also available at the Embassy of Burkina Faso in Copenhagen, or from our Honorary Consulates.
2- When completed, the forms should be sent to the Embassy of Burkina Faso in Copenhagen
or handed out there.
Please enclose the following items with your application :
Your passport, which must be valid for at least three (3) months.
Three (3) passport sized photographs
The visa fees :
If your passport has to be returned by post, to cover recorded delivery fees, please enclose an extra amount of DKK 75,00danish kroner per pass for Danemark, and DKK 85,00 danish kroner per pass for Europe.
3- The time required for the issue of a visa is 4 working days from the day all required items have been received.
4- An extension to your visa, if required, may be obtained in Burkina Faso.
5- The visa and expedition fees are payable by cash in Danish Crones at the embassy, by check for Denmark to the account No.4001 400 131 99 49, in Danske Bank. (In this case the receipt of the transfer must be enclosed when submitting the visa application) For other countries.6- Please include as bank fees DKK 40.00 for Europe if you pay by transfer.
NB : A yellow fever vaccination is compulsory. (We would also recommend that you consult your doctor to obtain preventive medicines against malaria.)
